DATADVANCE Participated in NAFEMS France Conference

On November 14-15, DATADVANCE participated as a Silver Sponsor and a presenter at the NAFEMS France Regional Conference 2018 held in Paris. The independent, vendor-neutral Conference gathered engineering modeling, analysis & simulation specialists from more than 100 companies of all industry sectors, and covered both the traditional simulation themes like structural mechanics or CFD and the trendy topics of Additive Manufacturing, SPDM, big data analytics, and others.

Anton Saratov, Application Engineer at DATADVANCE, opened the "Structural mechanics" session with the presentation of successful application of pSeven called “Automated Detuning Steam Turbine Rotor Blade’s Eigenfrequencies". It describes the results of the automation of typical structural and CFD simulations of a flow channel in a steam turbine with the application of Adaptive Design of Experiments technique. This is a collaborative project with the Ural Turbine Works, one of the leading mechanical engineering plants, that specializes in the manufacture of steam turbines, servicing and modernization of steam and gas turbines.

Attendees could learn more details and explore other pSeven’s application examples at the company’s booth, which was open both days.
