pSeven Desktop – the new name of the PIDO software by pSeven SAS

pSeven SAS announces the product name adjustment for its PIDO software, pSeven. Starting from April 15, 2025 the product name is changing to pSeven Desktop.

We noticed that many of our users and partners around the world, as well as all of our employees, were adding the word “Desktop” to the pSeven product name to emphasize the difference with pSeven Enterprise, our flagship product with its collaborative nature and server-side deployment, and the company name. Thus, the decision to adjust the pSeven product name to pSeven Desktop seemed organic and logical to us.

During some transition period, both product name options will be relevant, especially in contracts, invoices and other accounting documents, but we believe that from a marketing perspective the new name will be easily and organically adopted by the engineering community,
